Guarantee Protection Insurance Ltd (GPI) is a UK based general insurer authorised & regulated by the Financial Services Authority, which commenced underwriting in 2002 taking over the well-established insurance backed guarantee business of Guarantee Protection Trust.
The original core business of protecting guarantees in the timber treatment & damp-proofing trades placed GPI in an area outside the normal Insurance providers and gave it a unique perspective. Able to write business in the Miscellaneous Financial Loss, Damage to property and Fire and Natural Forces classes of business categories for periods up to 20 years for a single premium makes GPI much more than your average insurance company.

The development of green energy and the need to be energy efficient are providing GPI with new markets to protect.
